Our primary focus for the money we raise is to provide much needed help for children who are speech or hearing impaired. Over the past 30 years, we have raised over $1,000,000 – and returned all of it as grants and scholarships to many of our community’s most worthy people and causes.
The Sertoma Club created a second non-profit organization: Sertoma Kids, Inc. This is a state-of-the-art speech clinic, headed by a licensed speech pathologist and a team of therapists. As noted, all money raised through this and other fund-raisers, are used in the community via Sertoma Kids; equipment, overhead and to assist families with financial difficulties.
